Baby Ottie + Australian Birth Stories - Melbourne newborn photographer
I'm so happy to be sponsoring this week's episode of Australian Birth Stories. I recently photographed Sophie (the one woman show behind Australian Birth Stories) and her gorgeous family after the arrival of their 3rd baby, Ottie - so I thought this was a wonderful time to share the rest of their newborn session.
As you can see below, my newborn sessions are very family focused - sure, your beautiful bub is going to be the star of the show, but it is so incredibly important & far more meaningful to capture the love, connection, emotion and those special and unique moments that you share together with your growing family.
On this week’s episode of Australian Bith Stories , Sophie speaks with Melbourne Mum, Natalie.
Natalie had both her children through midwifery care in Melbourne. Her first pregnancy was quite straight forward and she delivered her first son at 36 weeks without pain medication. Reuben had a sever tough tie and she was unable to get him to latch. Natalie expressed around the clock and syringe and then bottle fed her little boy. He wasn’t sleeping well and she wasn’t able to enjoy him as she was constantly pumping, feeding and resettling. It wasn’t until Reuben was one year old that Natalie realised that she had post natal depression. To hear more about Natalie’s story and how she developed cholestasis tune into this weeks episode.
Oh and you may remember that a few months ago, I actually interviewed Sophie to get a better idea of what goes on behind the scenes of Australian Bith Stories - you can find that interview, here
