Have you considered lifestyle newborn photography?
As a Torquay based lifestyle newborn photographer (servicing Geelong, Surf Coast & Bellarine Peninsula), I often get asked about why someone should choose lifestyle photography over the more well known, posed studio photography. So I wanted to share a few things to consider, and if you find yourself nodding along & agreeing with them, it might just be that in home newborn lifestyle photography is perfect for you!
You would rather not have to leave the house with your newborn to go to a studio for professional photos (especially since it takes you an extra half an hour just to get out the door post-baby!!)
You know that in 10, 20, 30 years time, it’s going to be extra special looking back at your photos that were taken in one of your first family homes
You have older children who you think would probaby feel more comfortable in front of the camera if they’re in a safe & familiar space, rather than somewhere they’ve never been before
You love the idea of relaxed, unposed & natural photos
You want to be able to just go with the flow, following the lead of your bub (and any other older children) with no pressure to force smiles or poses
You want to be able to capture all those special & unscripted everyday moments
You don’t want your photos to be an exact replica of something you’ve seen on social media or pinterest, you want your own unique photos captured that tell a story of YOUR family
You want beautiful images that you can print, frame, display & admire for years to come!
