A few months ago, Sue and Nick had a weekend away together down the Great Ocean Road. They loved it so much that they packed up their Melbourne home and with their beloved pooch, Frankie, moved down to the Surf Coast!! How awesome is that!? Life is just way too short to sit around planning for 'one day' and I have so much admiration for the 'what do we have to lose?' attitude that these guys have.
Sue is one of my very best friends in the world. She is the type of woman you want your daughters growing up around and learning from. She is strong, so so smart, compassionate, deeply determined and, in what could be considered as the understatement of the century, has THE MOST infectiously happy laugh you will ever hear (seriously though ... this laugh has gotten me in trouble on numerous occasions, particularly during our uni days!). Sue and Nick's relationship is just such a beautiful and genuine love story - I'm so happy I got to capture some sweet memories for them with their fur-baby.
Here are just a couple of my fav's from our Christmas Eve beach session (the 'beach' portion cut short due to some crazy weather, which rolled in out of nowhere!).
